Month-on-month all but six of the top 50 sites saw traffic growth in March, with the ten biggest seeing a boost of over 10%. The fastest-growing site year-on-year was Athlon Sports, up nearly quadruple in visits, followed by Moneywise, one of the newer entrants to the top 50, and Indian news site India Times. Climate-specialised news brand The Cool Down, which entered the rankings for the first time this month at 42nd, was also among the top growers with visits up over 50%.
Meanwhile, the fastest-falling site was People magazine, down 17% year-on-year. The rest of the top 50 saw modest gains, with AP News and aggregator Google News seeing the strongest increases.
